Tucked into the hillside in the Illawarra's northern suburbs, Florence in Blue is a study in balance - old & new, softness & strength, light & depth. What began as a shared bathroom and master bedroom became an expansive master retreat and two bathrooms, one as an ensuite.
Here, texture & tone do the talking. Soft blue-greys meet creamy stone & oak: natural light moves gently through each space, revealing detail rather than drama. The interiors are layered with custom wallpaper, V-joint ceilings and honed stone countertops celebrating craftsmanship & warmth. Every element, from the herringbone floors to the relaxed linen bedding was chosen to age beautifully with the family that calls it home.
This project embodies Michelle Viret Design's ethos: homes that evolve gracefully, feel deeply personal, and invites life to unfold beautifully.
