There is a certain ease to a home that has evolved with its owners. Spaces feel connected, treasured pieces find their place, and new additions sit comfortably alongside what was already there. Florence in Blue is a story of that evolution.
Following the transformation of the bathrooms and master suite, the next chapter focused on the kitchen and dining areas. The brief was to create spaces that felt cohesive with the earlier interiors while bringing renewed warmth, depth and personality to the heart of the home.
Rich navy cabinetry anchors the generous kitchen, complemented by classic shaker profiles, handmade brass hardware and softly veined stone. Natural textures, mixed timbers, rattan and carefully considered lighting soften the palette, creating a balance between traditional detailing and relaxed coastal living. The adjoining dining area continues this relaxed sensibility, creating a natural connection between cooking, gathering and spending time together.
The finished spaces are classic without feeling formal, colourful without overwhelming, and thoughtfully designed without losing the ease that makes a house feel like home.
